Macho Dancer (1988, Philippines) – First Look Reaction

I saw the 1988 Lino Brocka classic, Macho Dancer earlier today (or should I say yesterday as I am writing this after midnight), it was tantalizing. The film brought numerous emotions about of me and left me with so much food for thought. I had never heard of it prior to noticing it was playing this week at one of my favorite arthouse cinemas. Now, I can’t let it go and am wondering where I can get my hands on a DVD version of it. Perhaps I have found more than a film that leaves me in wonder but also come across the work of a new favorite director.
