Lil’ T, the alias of an 8 almost 9 year old whom I spoke with only moments before sharing is thoughts with the RMC audience tells me, his auntie why “Hello Neighbor Welcome to Raven Brooks” is a series worth not only my time but yours too, Dear Reader.

This is the transcript of that intergenerational conversation around recorded media.

Lil’ T: “So there’s this guy called Mr. Peterson or Mark, and he used to be an engineer for carnival rides. Every time somebody went on a ride and he either touched them or made contact with them they would go missing on the rides. And then five kids go to his house and uncover mysteries.”

Interviewer: “What makes this a great show?”

Lil’ T: “It has mystery and action, and a bit of drama. It might have one violent scene but whatever.

You can skip episodes, but you can’t skip the seasons. Season one has a big part you can’t just want the big parts without the leadings. So basically you can’t watch season two without season one.”
